Best Friends 2009 Calendar Contest Call for Entries
You know that your pet is the cutest/prettiest/most handsome on the block. Now it's time to show the world! Enter our "Best Friends 2009" Calendar Contest, and your pet just may be the most famous feline or pooch (or even fish) in San Diego...who knows how far they'll go!
Even better, your tax-deductible entry donation of $25 supports animal rehabilitation and adoption programs at the Escondido Humane Society. Every entry means a happier life for a pet still waiting to become someone's special "star."
Every completed entry receives a complimentary high-quality calendar - a perfect holiday gift for your animal-loving friends and family! Keep it for yourself and display it proudly in your home or office to show your love and support of animals.
Early birds are guaranteed fame - the first 50 entries that meet our guidelines will be featured in our "Community Collage."

The regular suggested donation is $20 per calendar.

:::High-resolution, horizontal layout photos have a better chance of being voted as “Pets of the Month” (they enlarge better)
:::Copyrighted photographs are not accepted
:::We reserve the right to decline publication of any photograph for any reason (i.e., photos of animals in unsafe situations, or technical difficulties downloading photo). Should this happen, we’ll notify you asap and refund your entry fee.
Every entry will receive a FREE copy of the 2009 “Best Friends” Calendar, so you can proudly display your photogenic pet and show your love and support for animals in need. Calendars are regularly $20.
First 50 entries that meet the above guidelines are guaranteed to appear in “Best Friends 2009” Calendar in our “Community Collage”. Winning photographs will appear as our famous “Pets of the Month.”
The calendar will be available at the shelter in October 2008
